November 20 A Shitty Day
现代人仍然可以被分成两类:"Marry for love"和"marry for fortune"。
What a shitty day,弄得我好累! 喜欢BJ用那种自豪的语气指着Darcy说:He's my boyfriend! What a shitty day! No water, no power, no heater.
PS. 一个月前第一遍听“Tear Drops on My Guitar”时,毫无感觉。 November 17 Knowing me I was looking for something that might need updating in my old notes when I found a few words which took me quite by surprise.
...It's not my movie...My movies guide me to think, think deeply about life, world, value, society. My movies are my nourishment, (OMG! The following was written in Russian, which means) giving me new breaths, bringing life to my heart. They are non-commercial.
With this, I was trying to persuade myself into something hard, although the Russians say "you can't give orders to a heart". Now I know it was obviously a misunderstanding. I also wrote:
I never write movie reviews unless my teachers set me one as a compulsary task, homework.
These words were taken down on Jan. 5th, 2006, before I graduated with a Master's degree and came to work in BJ. Seems I've grown into some new habits since then. Today I even write reviews for some website sometimes. And the quotations above was from the last piece in my notebook, while on the first page, I wrote:
The cloud will be cleared and the sun will shine on us again, which would be the eternal sunshine of my spotless mind.
And also this in the notes:
Vouloir, c'est pouvoir!
I was tough, wasn't I? Considering my situation then. November 16
November 14 Long Term Memory
发现"it's just at the tip of the tongue"的时候,千万别气馁,继续搜索!
我说:Keep looking!
Keep hunting!
Oh! November 03 My Autumn Movies Here's my Autumn movie list, and the stars show the peronal tast only.

Generation Kill: ★★★★
The Starter Wife: ★★★ Strongly recommended: Les Femme de L'ombre, Wall-E, 《海角七号》. November 02 Woman Agents With the help of Google's dictionary, I got to know the meaning of the French word "ombre". "Les Femme de L'ombre" is one of my favorate movies of 2008. I like the story, the way the story is told, the pretty girls knows as "agents", the sexy German officer and the cool military uniforms of that age. It was shocking to know that the unprofessional female "agents" - if they could be called agents for they were so unprepared before they jumped into Paris that they had only one day of training - made such a big contribution to the success of D-Day. However, it was too risking for the British secret service to send them to the German-controlled France to save a geologist in Germans' hand and kill the German Colonel. Unprofessional agents make more mistakes, as proved in this movie and Li'An's "Lust, Caution", while the same "affair" may not be a problem for James Bond. Colonel Heindrick was able, smart, competent, outstanding, and what is more, very cute. But he was just a colonel, who could do nothing but go to Berlin in person with his important strategic intelligence -- fine intelligence, with both raw materials and perfect analysis. He might be another "bad guy" for movies, but for me, anyway, he was doing his job and was trying his best. It was not a coincident that the Germans could fight for 5 years. I might not have liked "Les Femme de L'ombre" so much without him. Unluckily, he was in the wrong camp, which caused his tragedy. D-Day was a great day with great loss and great success.
